Finding My Van!

My mother was hospitalized a few weeks before her death.
She had made her wishes quite clear regarding medical intervention, but some of the hospital personnel had their own ideas.
Because of her difficulty in communicating, we decided one of us would be with her 24/7.
I drew the first shift, but because of transportation issues, my brother used my van to transport several family members to their homes, and then returned my van and drove his own vehicle home.
It was 4AM when I headed out to the parking lot. There were not too many cars parked so I headed towards 'my' van.
Imagine my surprise. The lights did not come on, nor did the doors unlock, when I clicked the unlock button on my key.
Then, I noticed a car a few rows over. You guessed it. My van was not parked where I expected to find it.
Have you ever 'lost' your vehicle in a parking lot? If so, how did you find it?

Yes!! I've lost my car in a parking lot and have found it by pressing the alarm button on my key.

I haven't lost it yet, but my new van is harder to find than my old one was. The old one had decals in the windows for my business.

Technically you did not lose it, he moved it. I do lose mine often and wander about in a daze looking.
