Another unwrapped gift for me

Happy Christmas Eve everyone.
Sweetness. Hubby called a cab this morning. There went thirty dollars but hey it wasn't me navigating the roads. They looked okay, considering it was 17 above and all. (Sure was cold walking the rasty driveway up to the road.)
Then a few minutes ago he called. Work is letting him out two hours early. I will go get him but two great things for me: it is daylight and almost not freezing out. Third fantastic unwrapped gift: it will be daylight when I drive back home. Can it get any better? I will be able to eat our Christmas Eve chowder with gusto.
