What will you be doing?

Last night of the year, what will you be doing? I will be honest, this is probablly my LEAST favorite holiday. I have always felt that the ghosts of the pains, losses, guilt, deaths, ends, etc, all parade past us that night. It's their once last chance to smack us in the face for what we did, what we should have done..... Wow, that sounds like a great horror story (you know who you are, I bet you could write something neat with that idea). So I tend to watch some tv, and try to to go to bed and forget about the date. How about you?

Somehow all holidays seem to be the same with the exception of July 4, the reason is because of those da mmed fireworks I hate those things.

Not totally sure I have my kids for New Year Eve. maybe watch TV so something, I doubt much happens in Plymouth.

It has always been a cheerful holiday for me. No matter what the year brought, the Holiday was always fun. I thought I would be working but I was wrong. I work tonight but am off on Thursday Night. Picking up a fruit and cheese platter most likely when I get off work.

I will be spending the evening with a friend, having dinner and watching movies. I will most likely crash before midnight, but don't tell her that. :-\ hehe

@ivyparkgirl myevening sure did take a different turn and here I am at home spending time on myLot alone. I think I prefer it this way. I am enjoying myself...hehe. And soon the ball will drop, If I can stay up that long

I am a little late in posting to this discussion it seems, but I was out and about with my sister, spending some much needed time with her in a "girls night out" way. We rang in the new year with champagne, it was great! Hope you had a good new year.

Been just another day for me. Nothing special today. I have some work tonight - client needs me to keep working into the year.. and I think that is something I should be happy about. I do not look back at the things that have happened during the last year - as I think it is just not the best way to say good bye to a year that was. I would not like to blame the time or even myself for what happened. So I look forward to a brighter happier and healthier coming year.

I usually stay up until 4:00 AM anyway, so midnight is still early for me. But I spent New Years how I normally spend my nights; watching videos, listening to podcasts, doing some work, etc.
