Not A Fan Of Cable

I've been out of cable for the past few days..lovely way to start the new year, so have been back and forth in person and on phone..Did you know we don't talk to a person in our country but was talking to a lady in the Philippines . After getting a new cable box and talking on the phone again for another hour to get it activated, they are now having a person come out Tuesday. Funny all their commercials say they will be out so soon, that day or whatever..Don't believe it..it is all Bull and now i have to be on here bothering all of you cause i can't even watch the news to see who is doing what to whom or how the weather is..? So if anyone wants to give me a day to day idea of what is going on in the news i will be so ever grateful Ugh Time warner..maybe time to cancel.

There is a new law in the United States that says anytime you get customer service and they are not from the United States you can request to talk to someone in the US. It's true I have tried it.

Rose, the best news source to me is Twitter. If you want to know what is going on, that is the place, just IMO. Yes I hate cable too and sorry that you are having these problems.

@Rosekitty It is a shambles as they charge money for a service but cant seem to provide it. One piece of news in Mexico, the new female mayor that was just sworn in on New Years Day has been executed. Sad

.it took me 5 days finally to get someone to come out and then when they did they took two days to fix my cable @thesids...so i'm finally back

thing is, for certain things they are, like phone and security, tv isn't that important, esp if it's not all your services out. Things are going to get worse as more and more companies are bought out overseas....

@Jessicalynnt .it took me 5 days finally to get someone to come out and then when they did they took two days to fix my cable..the guy though is so helpful and he gave me his card to call him anytime i need help

yep Time Warner I started out a few years back with just internet cable as i hav e no Television,Monthly bill 36 dollars and it kept going up til now its 55.99 a month and thats just for internet n ow some of that is rental on the modem they are fast but too costly lol.
