I love macro photography. I love seeing things that I normally wouldn't see with the naked eye. This is a photo of one of the tulips in my garden. You can see the yellow flecks of pollen on the petals. You can also see the pollen on the tips of the stamen. I also love that tiny but of blue coloring at the bottom of the petals.

That's a really cool picture. I love the flower itself and the details are awesome

That is a gorgeous shot. I catch myself getting in the car without my camera and walking back into the house to get it. There is rarely a day when i don't see something to photography. My photo place on my mac doesn't make it easy to find photos, they seem to be all mixed up. When I go to look for a photo it sometimes takes me ah hour. I think because this is the new year I will start a new site for my photos. Not sure I can do that but will check it out.

I have put all my photos on an external hard drive. I have 1 terabyte or whatever they call it. I have over 10,000 on there and used a tiny fraction of the space, so easy to use.

@fishtiger58 I'll have to ask my son about that. My mac is huge but so are my photos...

@PainsOnSlate I am so pleased about the external hard drive. My sons both told me I would never be able to fill it because of the 1 terabyte deal. I think the external hard drive cost like 50 bucks, not so bad for all that extra space.

You must have a very expensive camera to take such shots. I would like a better camera as I can't get good action shots. My kids do a lot of stuff like marching band, colorguard, things like that. My camera is great at still shots, but action shots not so good and zooming isn't always great either unless I have the time to focus. But I don't have the money for super expensive cameras. Thankfully lots of other people are taking pictures at these events so usually they will get 1 or 2 shots of my kids so I don't have to.

I actually have 3 cameras and they all have things about them I like. This camera wasn't horrible expensive, it was a 500 dollar camera I got on sale for 300. It was a Christmas present. I also have an Olympus Pen regularly 500 I got brand new for 200 and I was ecstatic about that. The lenses for the Pen can be more expensive than the darn camera, so I wait for sales. I just got a zoom lens for the Pen for Christmas, regularly 250 got it for 99 woohooo.,

I also love the tiny blue color at the bottom of the flower, it's a nice contrast with the other colors.

I'm on the 'new' MyLot and can see the pollen and the blue colouring without blowing up the photo. How good is that?
