Downton Abbey, Attempting to Binge Watch

I don't usually have to "attempt" binge-watching... but tomorrow i have a friend throwing a little Downton Abbey party for the season premiere. Sounds like such fun, but I don't want to go unless I am caught up.
At this rate, I don't think that will happen. I am only on episode 2 of season 5. Unless I stay awake half the night, I just don't think I can do it.
Do you like the show Downton Abbey?

it's a very good show! i've enjoyed it. i just fell behind last year.

@DianneN So I have heard. I did watch a documentary a short time ago about the house they film it in and the real owners of the house. He is a Lord or something like that.

@jillybean1222 yes thanks to those it is...but that's a lot of time, as you said...lol. I could always watch a couple a night and get through it eventually

@T_gray yes, so many shows, so little time! i tend to usually catch up at night after my kids go to bed & by then, i'm tired!

I have not watched it. I guess I am behind on the times as I know so many watch it and enjoy it.The internet is at your disposal, have you thought to look up a season recap?

i truly enjoy this show, so i want to watch and enjoy it. i just will have to watch it with my friend next time

That's one show I've never seen. I've been binge-watching this past season of Blacklist as I fell so far behind and the new season starts this week.

We will miss the season opener tonight, since we have dinner plans with friends. We will tape it, however. My son and his wife watched the new season on the Internet already. It seems to be everyone's favorite show. What is not to love about it?
