My dismal love life

Well you guys know my x dumped me on Christmas Eve, but the relationship has been rocky for over a year. It is just not working anymore after 16 years. I am talking to him since New Years Eve but we are not together. I want a man that wants me in my life. I am 60 years old; these are the last years of my life. I have been looking online, but these guys are all players. They don't even know me yet the love me already. I can't deal with that bull. There is one guy that doesn't come on that strong and we are communicating through emails. He says he lives right here in my city as well. Then my son's girlfriend is going to introduce me to someone she knows as well. So we will see how it works out, maybe I might end up with a few new friends at least. If I do find someone for me, it will be nice but I am not holding my breath.

I've always found, when I was single, that when I wasn't looking it was when I found someone-that's what happened when I met my husband. Try doing that for a while, just you be happy and have fun and see where it leads you.

when I am not looking I don't let anyone new into my life. My grandmother always told me that men won't come beating down the door, they don't know me, I have to put myself out there.

@winterose take up a new hobby or go to a class....walks in the park ....walk a dog ( borrow one if you haven't got one ) ...people always stop and talk when you have a dog.

Good luck! Looks like you are doing it the right way - not rushing and not falling for whatever crap online dating is likely to dish out. I am sure there are good, genuine ones there, as much as there are posers.
