Would you ask an ex to help you? / myLot

My friend asked me this question, and I had to really think about it. If you need work on your car, or to help you move whatever it may be. I don't know if I would unless I really really need the help.

I said this to her as well. It depends on the relationship but again it's rare to get that.

This is a very hard question. But I will still try to avoid asking help from my ex-boyfriend. As it will be embarrassing. And when a relationship ended, I really want it is over. So I will contact less with my ex-boyfriend.

It would depend on why he was an ex. Also on how needy I was. I probably would not, but my son's ex stuck to him like old chewing gum for the longest time.

I currently have a boyfriend, so I would ask him. If I had no one else to ask and in good terms, I may. But also I wouldn't want him to feel awkward (or if he has a girlfriend, I wouldn't though). I wouldn't want to be in a mess of his girlfriend saying you're helping your ex. It all depends on the situation.
