The Biggest Loser Started Tonight

So, another season of The Biggest Loser started tonight. I haven't missed a season. This season is going to be really big. I actually got motivated by the show tonight and even though it was late (11:00pm) and I have a cold, I got on the treadmill. My goal this year is to get on the treadmill for 15 minutes three times a day instead of working hard for 45 minutes and paying with pain later. But once on there I decided 20 minutes 3 times a day was doable and did exactly one mile in the 20 minutes. I've got a cold and felt pretty crappy today, but it's up and down and was having a good moment when I decided to get on the treadmill. And sweating is supposed to help get rid of a cold, right? I am sweating after 20 minutes on 3.0 pace (though I boosted it up a bit for the last 30 seconds so that I could complete the one mile). Now, if I can do the same thing with my writing..... well, at least 30 minutes once a day would be a good start. Those are my two focuses this year. No, I did not say resolutions. Last year I said priorities. This year I'm saying focuses. So, what are your "plans" for this year?

If you lived in The US I would tell you about Cold Eeze but since you are with me in Canada I won't. I live close to the border and buy it in the states. I've had about 5 colds since I discovered the product over 20 years ago. I'm wondering how I missed the Biggest Loses. My son is home and took over my TV so I missed it. I can't remember what I watched last night - that's how exciting it was.

I'm drinking a lot of echinacea tea with lemon wedge which I am sure is keeping this cold from becoming full blown.

Oh, I can't believe I forgot about Biggest Loser tonight. There were so many shows that started tonight and that one just slipped my mind. I think I can watch it "on demand" though so thats good. It is good to hear you are motivated. It is very good for you in many ways. I have also picked up on my walking and am doing great with it. Best of luck to you

I haven't watched much of the Biggest Loser, but I've watched some in the past - very interesting show! My goals this year is to loose 10-15 lbs!

Menopause has wreaked havoc on my weight. I don't know how I'm going to lose this extra 15 pounds I've gained.

I've watched Biggest Loser since Ali Sweeney joined, 14 seasons ago. Bob did a good job as host/mentor for double duty. My plans are to stay focused and organized, stay healthy, and get my R&Rs done by mid-spring to agents.

I haven't made any yet but I guess I should put some thought into it or I'll be drifting all year.

My mother-in-law told me the other night that many years ago she did a self-inventory and realized what she had to change about herself and it has made a big difference in her life. She said she didn't realize she was so negative. I've never known her to be negative so I'm guessing this happened before my time in their family.

It's really good this season. Bob Harper is actually the host but he delves into people's psychological issues. It's very moving and educational. And there are going to be lots of temptations.

I make no plans for the year, I do every day what it's needed and I try to keep some time for me.
