Heading for the Snow

The UK remains unseasonably warm but my boss has just sent me a message that in Bremen it's been snowing for a day and I should bring warm clothes. I fly over tonight - if the flights don't get cancelled.
It's nice of her to let me know - but the warning is much too late as I'm packed, have no opportunity to go back to the flat and repack, and so I'll just have to deal with what I've got.
Annoyingly I have my beautiful new knee high blue suede boots on. I gave them two coats of suede protecting spray yesterday but I don't think that will be enough. So when I leave for the airport, I'll stop at the supermarket nearby and see if they have any cheap rubber boots. I think I still have space in my hand-luggage to squeeze them in. It will be a good 10 degrees colder over there than it is here. So I may be in for some 'thermal shock'.

All I can say is, better you than me....I hate cold/snow/boots, etc.

@marlina It is 21 degrees - I live in the freaken south and it's 21 degrees...crazy.

I travel in crappy clothes, but if you have to go straight to a work thing I dont know if that would work

Better keep first your suede boots and get one appropriate for the winter. I hope your coming winter won't be a bad one.

i didn't even know there are sprays to protect suede. hope you managed to squeeze it in.

That would be a shame to ruin your boots. Hope you can find some cheap ones. I need to put that spray on my boots too.

I hope you can find some rubber boots, it would be a shame to ruin your pretty suede ones. I hope you don't get too cold! Maybe you can layer the clothes you are taking with you! Take care!
