Does anyone drink too much coffee? How does it make you feel? Are you relaxed? Do you feel wound up and keyed? What do you consider too much coffee to drink? Do you drink it just in the morning or all day long? Let me know how you feel about it.

I drink coffee, three cups in the morning and an espresso soon after the lunch. I have always drunk coffee, as all Italians do.

Three cups for breakfast? What type of coffee and what type of cup?

@mysdianait No, not three cups for breakfast, one for breakfast, one at 9:30 and one at 11:00. In the morning I prepare the so called American coffee (with a filter), after lunch an espresso. All my family and friends tell me that I should lose my Italian nationality to drink American coffee, that they consider dirty water.

I start off with two big cups during the morning and sometimes I'll have a cup in the later part of the afternoon if I'm feeling weary. It's rare that coffee will keep me awake and I don't know if I've ever had coffee nerves as they say

Too mucjh talk of coffee and now I must go and make one. Blacke expresso with no sugar is mine and I have no idea how many are too many. I have at least five a day - but espresso is served in small cups so it is not as much as it sounds

@thesids Those ones, 'like pinch and fill a small cup' are the ones I LOVE! When I first came here I found them so bitter and difficult to even sip. Now I can't get enough and any excuse is a good one to have one The other ones you mention: I know Nescafe and drank it in UK before coming here but now, I don't like it. I bought some last winter but it went solid in the jar as I wasn't using it Hey thank you for responding to my appeal

@mysdianait The Pinch and Fill a small cup ones here add some extra water as the vendors do not remove the cup after the main coffee is poured in. If you are not watching or there is a rush, this extra water gets added, making it taste lighter. As for getting the beans and processing them, some people in southern India do that. But getting beans is not that easy here.

I love my coffee - cold, Iced should be a better word. In summers, I have more of it but during winters, I have at least one mug of that a day. For other times in winter, it is about 4-5 times of black coffee. There are only two brands that I know (and use) - Nescafe is one - I prefer its Select variant and the other is BRU. I think this second one is a country brand from down southern India. There are a few stalls on the roadside that do make coffee (not the expresso or the one that is like punch in and fill a small cup) and they taste good too.

My tell tale sign that I have had too much coffee is when I feel sleepy but when I close my eyes I feel dizzy. I also feel tired.

My morning wake up is brewing, right now. I will have at least four coffees in total every day. Some days more. Every now and again I will only have one, but not very often.

I don't really have a habit to drink coffee. Sometimes I drink it because I want to be energetic all day long. Since I don't often drink it, so once I drink the coffee, it really works for me. I will not drink more than a cup of coffee because I am afraid I will be sleepless at night.

@mysdianait Well, we only brew it at home during weekends because then we actually have time in the morning to do so and enjoy together. During the week, I go to 2 gracery stores that have free coffee samples - so I go on separate days and that takes care of 2 other mornings - ha ha. The rest I just have green tea!

No, I cut back, maybe one cup a week, too much coffee does not agree with me. Never really relaxed me, it was just a habit of grabbing a cup.

I am able to drink coffee all day long and feel just fine. But I have been drinking it in excess for along time. So it doesn't affect me anymore.

@zebra2222 I drink plenty of coffee, but less than in the past. Once I drank two pots and I felt out of it. It was definitely too much and I never did that again.

I can drink coffee anytime. It doesn't keep me awake or make me jittery. I drink my share of coffee but I don't drink really strong stuff. Medium blend is my favourite. Sometimes I put a bit of coffee cream in it but mostly drink it black. Never with sugar.
