Yummy, some chicken feet my personal favourite. Actually I have two South African dishes that I love the most. I know this looks like something out of a scary movie, but chicken feet are really nice, especially on a cold day. Then I love beef Intestines and the stomach lining. We call it "Usu nama Thumbu" with some pap on the side. Delicious I tell you. I was not able to post another picture of this. Will post it as a response to this discussion. If ever you visit SA you should try this. What are your favourite foods.

I think my favorite dishes are soups of all kinds, especially chili. It uses ground or shredded meat and tomatoes and seasonings and peppers and beans. Very good with hot bread, especially corn bread.

My husband loves eating chicken feet. It is rich in collagen I learned so I am trying to eat it too.

The stomach lining is called 'tripe' but I don't know that a lot of people like it.

@Mbalie I thought maybe it was called something else in other countries. My mother loved tripe and when she was very old I'd sometimes cook it for her. There is a 'tripe club' in Perth and every month they go to a different restaurant and all have a tripe dish.

@JudyEv Wow nice to hear that in other countries you also eat tripe. I have a brother-in-law from Australia, but he does not like it. We made him try it once, but he never ate it again.
