Hard to start a discussion

It used to be so easy. I had all kinds of things to complain about. Now, not so much. Except maybe if the toilet overflows, but... I live a very boring life these days, which doesn't leave much to write about. And I think I like it that way.

I know exactly what you mean. I have a hard time coming up with discussions too, as my mind seems to draw a blank, and like you, my life is boring tool. Once I think of one, I post it, and hope for the best, and I must admit, that I have had responses and comments to all my discussions, which is great, as it keeps the interaction going, and the earnings flowing too.

@Marcyaz Yea, the same with me. I might just have to write the discussions down in notepad in order to have them, so if something happens again, I will have them written down so I don't lose them again.

Sometimes boring is the better way to have things! At least nothing major is happening.

I have very rarely started any discussions recently. I am getting along just responding which does not help the bank, but it is much easier for me mentally. Well you managed to start one here.

My life really is very basic these days, since i don't go out anymore. Over the past year and a half, my living situation changed to where I have my own place with privacy, and don't have to deal with all the idiots I dealt with for several years. I'm not on news sites or anything these days, basically just me and the cat...it's hard to write about peace and quiet, because there isn't much to say...but like I said, I like it that way.

@JolietJake I like it that way for you too. You do not need the stress of dealing with others..the cat is good company too. My life is pretty mundane these days too JJ.

I say exactly what @MALUSE expressed below. Nobody wants to read complaining all the time. Don't you have topics that interest you more than others? Hobbies? There are zillions of things to write about. Just take the plunge!

Does your cat like coffee? What are some interesting facts about bacon? Do you fry bacon before or after you have coffee with your cat? See, lots of subject ideas. Just, please, discard the plumbing issues.

My life is usually pretty boring too but I doubt there are many people here who have ultra-exciting lives

So true.. even I have a routine life. Every day doing almost same things, leaves hardly anything to talk about.. but i think exactly that is what gives us a chance to use our imagination probably..

Yes it is so hard to start a discussion for me too. I tried to figure it out and come up with realization of just reading and expressing thoughts with much interesting topics then unknowingly, you will eventually be on a discussion.

Why do you only do posts about complaints, I generally go right by those to the good posts. I am sure in your lifetime you have seen or done things that are interesting why don't you write about those type of things.
