I've always had a soft spot for Alan Rickman, a bit of a crush on him, if you will. I adored him in Dogma, which is one of my most favourite films of all time.
When it was first announced that he would play the part of Snape in Harry Potter I was thrilled to bits. His signature graces a Harry P 3 shot on the wall of our 'office'. He's divine.
And now he's dead.
So, I shall indulge in a sniffle and then life will continue. But Alan Rickman will be no more. Ever.

Yes! He always played the villain very well and was particularly good in Die Hard.

@Orson_Kart I just love the fact that he still somehow managed to portray something of the quintessential English villain even though he was playing a German.

Is 69 young? I don't feel young at 56.

@Orson_Kart In our days 69 is not a very old age to die.

We're born, we die. They're our only absolutes in life. :(

He did have a beautiful voice. It was probably the best thing about the film The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. :)
