Milestone Birthdays!

The first post I read this morning was written by @Traceyjayne. She is celebrating her half century birthday today. Fifty years, a milestone worth celebrating. Congratulations @Traceyjayne.
This made me think about the milestone birthdays our family will celebrate this year. My youngest daughter just celebrated her thirtieth birthday, before the year is over my father will celebrate ninety years, my oldest daughter her fortieth and I will hit the big number sixty.
To cap off a year of milestones, my sister @Platespinner and my brother @koopharper will celebrate twenty five years of marriage.
This is truly a year of milestones.

Hadn't thought about it but that is quite a list. I'm with @Platespinner . We need to do a really big party. A real logistical challenge for here. We're a little lean on facilities.

As part of a large family we expect frequent milestones, but this is a banner year.

We also had some big milestones this year too. My oldest grandson just turned 21, his brother 18, my mom 94 and we had a few turn 40 this year (they shall remain nameless LOL)

I don't know if you've read the rule that I'm copy-pasting here. Wouldn't want you to get into trouble.
You are not supposed to do this:
'Posting personal milestones such as birthdays, anniversaries, etc. - This is best celebrated via private messaging with your friends.'
See it yourself under 'help', but I see the post you are referring to is still there, so perhaps they are not enforcing it.

Having read those guidelines (yes I just retread them), this was not a post written to elicit congratulations. I was just trying to show that my family seems to be having a banner year for milestones. If this is inappropriate I hope that administration will let me know so I don't break any rules.
Thanks for your concern.

@Morleyhunt I hope I didn't come across as sanctimonious, I was genuinely trying to help. Like you, I hope it's ok.

@jaboUK it didn't come across that way. Sometimes reading is so different from a face to face discussion. You can't use, tone of voice, facial expressions. Then even though the UK and Canada both speak English, meanings can change. Thanks for the heads up. It's never a bad thing to review the rules.
