Girl Scout cookies

Went to the market today and there they were, the mom, the daughter and boxes (and boxes) of treats on the table. My favorite Thin Mints were front and center. At $4 a box, they are worth twice as much; the various bootleg versions are available year round, but don't have the unique crunch and taste. Getting ready to pour a glass of milk, open the box, gently break the foil's seal and get busy. Love, love, love Thin Mints.

Uh huh! Eating thin mints, huh? (SMH!) I prefer the ones with chocolate, caramel and coconut on them! Mmmmmm! Those are sooooo good, Sherry! Yeah, I have tried the generic ones from Walmart, and you are right, the general run of the mill generic cookies just don't satisfy my hunger for those kind of cookies like the slightly more expensive cookies. You've made me crave those dadburned cookies! LOL! Thanks, A LOT!

Wish I got 2 boxes instead of trying to be good and only buying one

I agree. My wife and I went to the store and they were outside so we bought 5 boxes. About 3 hours later girl scouts came to our door so we bought 5 more boxes.

Thin mints are my favorite too. I can remember when I was a goorl scout we sold cookies for 50 cents a box. It also seems they are selling them earlier and earlier every year.

I know, right? It used to be March, I remember sales would start around the same week as the Philadelphia Flower Show.
