Today Is A New Day...

Today is a new day, what we make of it is up to us. How true. We can make it a good day or a not so good day. I am choosing to make it a great day. I will be spending my day off today doing the things I love, sort of. My husband and I will be spending some time together running around the new Goodwill in our area. We like to poke around and see what there is of interest. We may not buy anything but it will be fun. We will be stopping by his brother and sister-in-laws home for a cup of coffee and a chat. Somewhere in there we will stop for a little lunch, just he and I. Eventually we will arrive at home where I will jump on the computer and go to work writing. Yeah!!

My wonderful husband did all the housework yesterday so that I could truly spend my day away from having to clean. He is wonderful What are you doing today?

Checking out Op Shops is great fun and if you see something you'd like it doesn't usually cost a fortune. We have a Red Cross store in our small town and about four thrift shops in our nearby big town.

@HazySue That's true and someone pointed out once, I think it was RaeLove, that some garments must make quite a bit of money over their lifetime, being put in and out of op shops.

being together is priceless .. never mind what you're doing, or where you're going as long as you are together, that will make your day. so lucky of you having a husband pampering you...savor every moment of it. you're creating memories...time never comes back.
