This flower if I might call it a flower does not get a second look where I am although I respect it and has a prominent place in our garden. This plant fetches a good price in countries that feel it is exotic.
Would you like to have it in your garden?

@allknowing It is nice that you have given a prominent place for Tiger Tails in your garden.
Though I do not have a garden now,I do see them in many houses nearby.

Acalypha is its botanical name and yes it is also called love lies bleeding but it is a common name just like what we call it as tiger tail. Both these names show up on the Internet.

@allknowing I'm glad that I wasn't wrong. Though I love flowers I'm not all that good on the names, especially if I don't grow them myself.

Why wouldn't anyone want to ahve it in their garden? I love the color and anything that is good enough for Mother Nature is good enough for me!

I remember my mother talking about this plant but I'm not sure if she had one or not.
