"You might not write well every day, but you can always edit a bad page. You can't edit a blank page." Jodi Picoult Good morning - today you are given a blank page to fill full of your colourful words and enchant us with your stories. Enchant us, show us your style, amuse us with your words - BE COLOURFUL! Didi you know that COLOURFUL is spelled with a U in English but without in American English??

Yes, I know about colourful, same is for colour. Many American word are spelled different: catalogue - catalog, flavour - flavor. It seems that Americans do not like the letter U.

its not the proper English to omit the U, but I wont hold it against them as long as they dont hold me adding my U against me

How apt, I have just been discussing painting with the teen and then you post a row of paintbrushes. Apparently it will take a bribe to get him up a ladder to do the ceiling and that is without any fancy murals.

Yes I knew that. The first time I saw it I was correcting everyone, until I found out it wasn't misspelled.

I always use English spelling here - and everywhere else. It's how I was taught and I'm afraid I'm sticking to it.

It depends on which site I am working on - some tell me I have a spelling error with the U and then I just ignore ALL
