Paint The Sky Challenge

As many of you know I am a fisherman, person, woman. I love to fish and have spent untold hours sitting in my boat with my husband. Rachel Lovejoy has challenged us to share a photo of a sunset or a sunrise. My photo is of a sunset on a lake in Illinois. I have never seen the sky in Illinois ever before or since give off this color during a sunset. I was stunned by it and clicked my heart out when this sunset occurred. This was taken in 2011. I hope you enjoy the colors as much as I did.
Not only did I get the sunset, I got the reflection of the sunset in the lake. Amazing,.

@fishtiger58 I don't fish, but I've always thought part of the attraction was having an excuse to sit and absorb nature.

@bagarad For me it is, my husband and I see so much. And discuss the birds we hear, it's just a wonderful relaxing thing for us. We have a boat and we get to see as much of a lake as we want, I love it.

We never had a lot of time either, but now we are retired and try to go often. I love nature so fishing fits right in,. Thanks for the kind words

Sunsets are truly amazing and I'm always particularly fond of the red sunsets and the bright pink ones. What a great picture you posted
