Oops! Republican Rick Santorum mumbles and stumbles and bumbles…

Yesterday Republican Presidential candidate Rick Santorum dropped out of the race and proceeded to endorse Marco Rubio. Today he appeared on the Morning Joe show to discuss the endorsement.
When pressed by Joe Scarborough, who is a fellow Republican, to mention one, just one, of Rubio’s accomplishments to back up his endorsement, Santorum couldn’t come up with anything, nada!
This unfortunate, uncomfortable moment left Democrats tittering, chuckling and celebrating, the Republicans in full panic mode, and the rest of us wondering what the heck does Santorum like about Rubio – his boots? his conservative religious beliefs? I’d like to know.
On another note, I’m looking forward to the Democratic debate tonight on MSNBC, where Hillary and Bernie will go face to face and battle it out. Could prove enlightening. Things are getting nastier by the hour, which does make for grand entertainment if nothing else!
Saturday night we get to watch the Republicans debate again and see what they're up to. It will be interesting to see who's left in the race, who shows up and whom everyone is gunning for. Will it be Cruz or Rubio this time or is Trump still the candidate the other candidates love to hate?

The Democrat race is between a die-hard Socialist and a dyed-in-the-wool Establishment liberal who may be guilty of violating Top Secret information. On the Republican side we have an egoistical megalomaniac who behaves like a petulant child - or as Ben Stein says, a big sulking baby, a Canadian from Texas, Marco Ru(Bae)O - according to his new t-shirts, the little shrub, the Brain Surgeon, and some other guys.
I'm sure somewhere there is at least one person qualified to be President, but no one can find that person.

That is quite a bunch of candidates you have just described! I'm not really comfortable with any of them, a few I'm downright afraid of, some I detest, a few I''m ok with but they don't have much chance. It's hard to tell at this point what will happen.

@LindaCPearson I'm honestly expecting a brokered convention for the Republicans. Maybe even for both if Hillary gets indicted. What she did concerning Top Secret info was much worse than what David Petraeus did and he got convicted.

it would be fun to see someone promoted for appreciation of his boots lol! Hope you get the candidates / leader you hope for - I would vote for Hillary Clinton given the choice
