Youth versus experience---the winner is?

Youth versus experience, an argument as old as time itself.... Today is the big day in sports…it’s Super Bowl Sunday and besides the game being played between the two best teams in the sport, it will also be a game of the ages. When the Denver Broncos and the Carolina Panthers take the field later today to kick off Super Bowl 50, all eyes will be on the quarterbacks. On the youth side is Cam Newton of the Panthers. He is 26 years old and very talented. On the other side of the field is Peyton Manning, 39 years old. He has been around the block and he has the experience on his side. His talent is well documented. When you get right down to it the quarterback is no better than the teammates that surround him. After all, football is a team sport. But it is also a sport where experience and youth can battle it out and only one can win. It is said youth is wasted on the young....maybe we'll find out later today!

It depends on which job. If the jobs like lawyers, doctors etc. Then of course the experience is much more important. If it is the sports, perhaps the youth is much more important than the experience.

I guess we'll know later today. I sorta like a younger doc, more current than some of old farts who aren't up on the new techniques.

If there is a topic I completely ignore is sport, I know nothing. I heard about the Super Bowl just because many years I was in the United States during February.

Payton is a great quarterback, and Cam is just hot this year where his position is concerned. Hard to say who is going to prevail. I am rooting for the Panthers.

Since Peyton is hero in Tennessee I have to go with him no matter if he's 39 or 22.

@AbbyGreenhill Payton has had a long wonderful career. I think his days may be numbered. I think he should become an actor, I love his commercials lol.

@AbbyGreenhill I missed the ending of the Super Bowl but I have been reading how badly Cam Newton reacted to not winning, he was a sore loser. Now, I am thinking it is good the Panthers didn't win since he had such an unsportmanship attitude.

@LeaPea2417 He walked out of a press conference - very unsportsmanlike and not a good example to the kids who look up to him.

I'm not a football fan so the Superbowl is probably the only game I watch all year....I tune in for the commercials and the half-time show.

Half time is the part I don't care for...too young for my tastes.
