Tonight I will be fixing pork chops for dinner. I found a way of frying pork chops in the oven so I thought I would see how it works. I have a few boneless chops that I am going to bake and I think I will make some scalloped potatoes to go with them. Now, all I have to do is think of what vegetable to make. Maybe some squash with green peppers and onions. That does sound good. For dessert we will be having some orange Jello with mandarin oranges in it. That all sounds so good to me that it has made me hungry. What are you having for dinner?

I hope that your "phoneless chops" do not taste like a cell phone!

I have some leftover beef roast and will cut it up and make an open faced sandwich with mashed potatoes and a veggie. Maybe have a ice cream for dessert.

I can't think that far into the future! I can't eat pork, I'm allergic to it. BTW, do you mean boneless chops instead of phoneless? I'm thinking, gee, everybody has a cell phone now, even the main course! PS -- love your avatar!!!

@FourWalls my pork chops may have a cell phone but I don't. I gave mine up a while ago.

I was about to ask what 'phoneless' chops were but I guess you meant 'boneless'. Sounds a great meal. I would love that dessert too.

@HazySue I keep leaving negatives off saying 'can' instead of 'can't' or leaving out 'not' which of course changes the meaning completely.

Your Pork Chops sound good. Let me know how it turns out frying it in the oven. Would love to hear more about how you did this? I have never thought about putting Mandarin oranges in Jello. I will have to try it.

@slund2041 they turned out terrific. I used a beaten egg to hold on a combination of parmesan cheese and Italian bread crumbs. I thought it turned out great.
