I cannot pop the hood on my car

Good morning,we got up to four inches of fluffy white snow.
This is so easy to clean.
Why can they do something simple,I try pop the hood of my car to
put some window washer in.I could not get this open.This is the dumbest thing that I ever saw.Nothing is simple in trying to figure out your car.
Yes,I read the manual and still could not pop the hood.
I give up,waiting for Mike to come home and give me an hand.
This is 2015 Subaru I feel so stupid.
Has anyone have problem trying to pop the hood in your time?

No. I never had any troubles popping the hood. Maybe YouTube can help you?

My hood release lever broke once. In order to pop the hood I had to use a hammer claw as a lever for the wire, and then it was easy to open it.

Mine has a lever you pull from inside and then you can pop the rest from outside.
