I found the number for the Westminster Villa Senior Living in Garden Grove and called it. The gal that answered said she is alright. I didn't ask for more. Just hearing she was okay was enough. Who knows why we haven't heard from her since the 4th. Maybe she got a better offer huh? I know it hurt her feelings when she didn't get any responses to her posts. At least I know she is okay.

It can cause worry as one never thinks of there being other reasons for her not being active. Glad she is ok.

That is really nice of you to call and keep us updated. Glad to hear she's alright! I recalled the Internet bill increased for her? Maybe she is switching over to another carrier.

No, I guess they replaced the carpet in her room and had to unplug her internet to do it. So she will be back when the internet is hooked back up again.

I payed attention to her posts and she mentions the name several times and the city and even the street. So I tracked her down. I guess someone else was able to talk to her son.

She commented on one of my post and said they were redoing her room and had to move elsewhere so hasn't had her computer. She should be back in a few days.

I miss seeing her here, and if I had see a discussion of hers, I would certainly have responded to it. I am glad that she is okay, as when I don't see her here, I do worry, since I know she is elderly. I hope that she comes back again before to long.

@celticeagle Yea, I saw that, as I responded to her new discussion that she did. I am so glad that she is okay,, as when anyone is gone for any length of time, I do get owrried that something has happened to them, but glad that nothing hs happened to her. I just wish that others I have intereacted with, would come back again..

Glad to hear she is ok, I always responded to her posts, but not right away, she posted after I crashed for the night most nights, so I'd get to them the next day.

I just got a message from her son. The staff at the center laid new carpets and they unhooked her computer and modem and phone. What a bunch of idiots. Her son will be re hooking it up for her.
The assistant living where my mother in law lived arrested her when she had demantia and threw a trash can at a member of the staff.
