My friend was thinking of getting a tattoo but too scared to visit the ink parlor because of the pain that she thinks that would kill her. She has been telling it to me for years now that I told her that we can just drop by and have it on to anywhere of her body. I gave her several ideas of tattoo design and showed some pictures to her so she will not have a hard time to think of the design. She wanted a girly-fancy-thing. I gave her a butterfly design. In one of our out of town trip in the northern part of the Philippines, I again convinced her to have a tattoo since she already have a copy of the design that she wanted but then again the was freaking her out. Good thing in a nearby park, we saw this henna tattoo artist, I recommended that if she was not really that ready then having a temporary tattoo would do and minus the pain. After waiting for 30 minutes, the henna tattoo really look good on her back.

I have never had a tattoo and have no interest in having one on my body.

@zebra2222 I do feel the same way. Henna is not permanent so it can be used for fun.

I really don't like them. I think it is an ingrained thing from childhood when only sailors and 'people of ill repute' had them. It is becoming unusual to see a young person without them nowadays.

@Shavkat I think a henna one is a very good idea.

I don't like tattoos at all but I know they are very popular and more and more people are having one applies. A henna tattoo seems a good option for your friend at the moment.

@JudyEv It is good option and hopefully, she won't dare to have the real tattoos on her body.

@Shavkat Tattoos are becoming more and more common. I've also read that tattoo removal is the new growth profession! I hope your girl-friend thinks long and hard and gets a tattoo she is really happy with - if she gets a permanent one that is.

@JudyEv Well, tattoo removal is fine. But there are some traces of tattoos and it looks scarce depending on the procedures done.

Haha, me too! I wouldn't want to have anything permanent on me. I prefer temporary tattoos, that's why I made my own designs.

@Shavkat Hahaha, so get temporary tattoos only. I can make some for you if you want. It's more affordable than the rest of those available online.

That's nice to heat. If ever I have a permanent tattoo, my mother will be in rage.

I would try henna since it's temporary and she can see if she will get the real deal.

@infatuatedbby I would also like to have one. For the real one, I don't think I would.

I have had a few tattoos done just feels like someone is running their nail over you. Unless you get it on a real sensitive area.

@ricki_911 You are very courageous for having these tattoos. I can't imagine how painful it is.

@Shavkat It depends on your pain tolerance. But it was not painful at all, tickled actually.

@Ladypeace She was really happy to try it. I am not sure if she will have the real thing. I hope it is not her option.
