Hey guys and gals! How are you all? I've been working somewhere I quite like. I've got another four weeks there after the school holiday. Although it's an OK place, I was still glad to finish! I'm not sure if I'll be working next week at all. I haven't had any calls asking if I am, but that doesn't mean I won't have any calls. I'm not planning on working much, but I won't mind doing a day or so. I went to submit a timesheet for this week but the information I needed wasn't on the online timesheet thingy. I don't know if the agency has a new admin person. Last week, I got paid for two weeks because I hadn't been paid the week before. I was working with another person from the same agency, who said she thought the people in the office don't seem to consider that we actually need paying. It's like we're just doing them a favour and they'll pay us when they feel like it. Well, I've sent an email to my agency person, saying that I couldn't submit my hours and to ask her to let me know when the informatio I needed was there. Hopefully that won't take too long. I don't know how much I'm earning for this job, but it's a childrens' centre and they usually pay quite well. I expect it'll be the end of next week before I get paid for it. I've been quite busy lately. I think I've mentioned last weekend's shenanigans - a ghost hunt, and some time with my niece and nephew after getting Mini to a Cubs activity day after I'd had barely 4 hours sleep. I keep being relieved when it's Friday but then I seem to not be able to have a lie in at the weekends! I have done some other stuff since last time I was here. Mini went to Cubs, as he usually does, on Tuesday. He had earned a science badge from the activity day. I must check if D has sewn them on yet. Wednesday, I went to a 'fun' night. It was me, D, and Mini. This was at Mini's school, he'd said he wanted to go. I must say that it was, mostly, the complete opposite of fun. I think Mini enjoyed some bits, and D and I quite liked when we had to make a costume out of bin bags and crepe paper. Apart from that, we were bored and falling asleep. We got pizza though. We also had crisps, and D told me off for eating too many! I told him it was Wednesday so I was allowed. I'd also had lots of chocolate, and was full of sugar by the time we got back! Also on Wednesday, Midi had a college interview. He didn't tell me much about it. He said that he looked around the maths and science department, and that he liked the person who interviewed him. He needs to keep an eye on his emails to find out about a place. Then, if he's offered a place there, he needs to choose whether to take that one or to take the place he's been offered at the sixth form where he goes to school now. Yesterday (that was Thursday), I went to Karaoke with @dorypanda. I hadn't been to karaoke for ages. In fact, it must have been a year or thereabouts. I had missed it. I think I hadn't been because I'd not seen the friends I used to go with, and then other things kept coming up, or I had to be up early the next day, etc. But my sister wanted to go, and I'm glad she did because we enjoyed it. We sang a couple of songs. If I hadn't had to be up for work this morning, I might have stayed out a little longer. We might go again next week as neither me nor Dory will be working that day, but I'll have been out for the day so might be tired! I would like to go to karaoke with Teenpanda (my big nephew) and with Midi, but that might take some organising. Today, I've been to work, and to the gym. Got home and decided to watch 'Orphan Black'. I might watch one more episode before I go over to my Mum's. I made a Valentine's card at work, but I left it there so it'll probably get thrown away. I need to get something for D but I don't know what. Actually, I have a couple of ideas but it'll be too late for one of them. Tomorrow, I'm planning on taking Mini for a haircut. Nothing much else to do. Next week, I don't know what I'll be doing but I do have a lot of study to catch up on. I'm not doing too badly with the course, but I will be glad when it's finished. I've got another course I'm supposed to be doing, and I want to do some extra bits of training to help me with work stuff. Anyway, lots of study next week. I'll probably also be getting some housework done as I've been struggling to keep on top of it. Mini has an appointment with the clinical psychologist (or 'poo doctor', as we call him). I need to remember that as we missed the last one. Then we'll be going out for a day. Mini asked if we could take his friend out for her birthday. I said her mum would probably want to do something with her on her actual birthday, so we are taking her out a different day. We're going on a train, and to museums. I've got a feeling there's something else happening next week which I've forgotten! After that, we'll be back to work and school again. Then it'll be Teenpanda's birthday. I take him clothes shopping every year. I don't know how many years we've been doing it, but I remember asking him if he was too old to do that when he was 14, he still wanted to do it now he'll be 23. I don't get to spend much time with him, so that's nice to have a day with him. We just need to arrange when we're both available. Oh, that was the other thing. I'm hoping that the boys will meet D's parents. We've been trying to organis that for a while, but different things keep coming up. I expect I'll have to remind D again. I got distracted again. That's happening a lot just lately. Not sure why, but it's making it hard to study! Well, I had better be off. One mor episode of Orphan Black, then off to Mother's for tea. TTFN

Yeah, watching TV is relaxing! The other stuff, some is relaxing doing the things but others, not so much. I find that it's the running back and forth between everything that gets me the most!

I don't mind being busy. This year is an important one for all of us but we might settle a bit next year! Well, I think things will settle for me once both boys stop needing me to take them places!

I always seem to be busy! Even when I try not to be, there's always something. I don't mind though. It's nice to be doing things.
