Night Noises

My house is just a couple of miles from Fairmount Park. Six years ago when I moved in, I would hear this clop, clop sound several times a night. For some reason, I decided the clop, clop sounds were made by horses. Imagine my surprise the day I realized skateboards (!) go clop, clop as the wheels go over bumps in the sidewalk.

Temple University's off-campus student housing is close by, and getting closer, so I hear skateboarders at least once or twice a week. I sort of like it
, because it does sound like horse's hooves.

Once or twice a week I hear skateboards for like 30 seconds, but I like their horsey sound.

Uhm... yeah, horses do go clop, clop, Sherry, but skateboards make much the same sound. The noise from the skateboard is normally louder than a horse would be when walking on pavement.
Granted, there might also be an echo to account for, but the skateboard still makes a louder noise...

@sherryericha You looked like you needed the giggle! I don't mind if the giggle is at me instead of with me!
