Always on organizing mode

It seems like I always have my organizing mode turned on. I have always been organizing and re-organizing, either my home, my computer files or my online storage. Well, I do enjoy organizing. I am happy to see things being more organized and neater, so it's easier for me to clean up and access to whatever I want, and it's easier to ask the children to tidy up as well. Moreover, they have a larger space to play around now. There are still more to work on. Hopefully I'll get everything done before the baby is born, so things will be easier to handle. Do you enjoy organizing your home or your files?

I like to organize my files, i clean my house but I do not reorganize it, my husband wants that things stay at their original place.

That's really good. I think if we keep things right at their own home, then we don't need that "re-organizing". I am still learning to keep that up properly, so I don't run into the re-organizing cycles.

Yes, I agree with that. I think being organized really helps us to get rid of the stress. Though I learn not to let the mess disturbs me, it's still better for us to stay organized and get rid of the mess, whether in our home or our mind.

@shivamani10 I think organizing can really keep us busy, and yes, I agree that it's good if we like the things we are doing too.

If you are a person who wants to keep yourself always busy then it is a good thing. But, it should become a hobby.

I can imagine your neat and organized home. I hope my home will be like that one day, though I like to organize, I always mess things up as well. It's definitely not a good example for my children.

That's good. It's always good to "get rid" of things. I have always read "less is more" recently, and trying to move towards that direction - simplified home.

I am learning to do things bit by bit, though I always wanted to do everything at a time, it's just not possible to do so. Now, I always slot in some time everyday to organize things, and I still get my other things done as well.

sometimes. But, it will be quite cumbersome if the emails pile up. I will be receiving 20 emails approximately for every 20 minutes. Is it possible to stick up to cleaning for every 20 minutes. This is one of the my 1st job every morning. I take it up only once. It is not possible to manage emails.Do u agree?

The person who recommends to keep less than 20 emails in inbox is a business person and she gets tons of emails daily. She doesn't check her email very often, as she is a stay-at-home mom too and she needs to spend time with her children. I believe we can always find ways to do that. I used to subscribe to many newsletters, hence I get a lot of emails daily, so the mailbox get piled up easily too. Then I started to unsubscribe to those I don't need to read anymore. I don't receive as many emails now, and I only need to take a short time to clear off those unread mails, then I am done. Of course, if I have missed organizing it for days, then the emails will get piled up again.

I used to enjoy doing the organizing but now find it more difficult (physically) and I miss those days.

I can understand that. Sometimes when I am sick or when I am not feeling well, it's so difficult to do the organizing work.
