I don't know. I am NOT griping. I just do not know. Our temps hit above 55 today- pretty hot for our part of the world considering it is February.
Will we endure a snow blizzard before true Spring arrives? Is this a tickle us game? I continue to drive with snow tires. I am driving with a grin on my face and yet I just don't know....plant peas??

Here in Arizona, we were having colder than usual temperatures for the last month or so and it's finally gotten back to normal.

The news said not to plant anything until spring because we still might have a hard freeze. I'm not counting winter out, yet.

@RichardMeister I've wondered about that factor last Fall: we had such a crazy warm, long Fall. The trees and shrubs budded and then yup, that long snow and ice phase. I'm hoping the farmers who are trying to grow things like cherries and peaches will not be harmed by this cycling back and forth.

@sallypup The main concern is your plants popping out of the ground then a hard freeze killing them. Then you will have to replant everything and start over.

@judgeoolz It is strange for sure that you folks back east are having blizzards and we're warmer than usual.

@sallypup Oh yeah, a few weeks ago there were huge blizzards all over the midwest and eastern states- it was affecting mail pretty badly so I heard all about it.

Wow, 55 sounds beautiful! I am in Minnesota and we just got hit with some unseasonably warm weather for February also - for us this is around 30 and sunny. 30 and sunny in February, who would have thought! It's amazing. Last week, it was bitterly cold. My advice to you - don't trust it. Mother nature has a way of teasing us. I am sure we will get hit with some snow before spring arrives.
