I'm Late to the Party, Again!

I guess it pays to look at the explore tab more often than once in a while as I tend to do. I'm busy enough with my notifications that I don't normally have time to explore too much, but this time I could have missed something vital, in a sense.
A new mylot is here and if you've not seen it yet or checked it out, you have to follow a link and sign in there. You can still be logged in with the current version. Some people have experienced difficulties logging in, so if that happens to you, don't fret. Just let mylot bugs know.
One thing I think is cool is that the mylot folks have been working on the new site behind the scenes which is quite different from the way that bubblews ever did their updates. Just think if they had set up a sister-site to do their updates and upgrades, we'd have been able to interact during all of that rather than running into all the glitches that took place for so long until everything was ironed out.
I didn't have any issues signing into the new mylot, and at first I was concerned about whether I remembered my password or not. But, I realized that I clicked the box that says remember me, and when I opened up the new site, that box was still clicked. That allowed me to sign in without having to remember anything.
I wonder whether anyone else experiencing difficulties signing in could click on that, on the current mylot and then refresh your page. Then try to access the new mylot again. Hopefully it will allow you entrance faster by having it filled out for you already.
The new site is still in the beta stage, and mylotbugs wants our feedback about what isn't working so well so they can fix it before going live. So, don't just write about what might not be working, but let them know first.
Anybody who has pulled up myLot on their phone or tablet knows that things looked pretty rough. We've been working on fixing this for awhile and are finally...

@divalounger to my knowledge it only works on a desktop and possibly on a laptop, but I don't know how to do it on a tablet or phone if it's even possible. I've learned to ignore it on my tablet.

I rarely suggest posts, but since I missed this one, I figured this was a good one to suggest to others. I hate it when I'm the last to find out about new things, but I guess I wasn't as late to the party as I thought at first.
If you access the internet in different ways, ie, desktop, smartphone or tablet/kindle/ be sure to check it out using each of them, when you have time of course, to help mylotbugs out.

I have been busy elsewhere and hadn't check in at myLot for a while, so I was stunned when I saw all the wonderful new improvements. Yay, it really is starting to feel like the "old" myLot again, which I loved and missed, but now it is starting to look even better.

I found that the box was ticked too which is just as well because I don't remember my myLot password either. I am always logged in and it is years since I had to use it.

@MarshaMusselman I agree! So many passwords and pin numbers these days that it is so difficult to remember them all. Any help is always accepted

I usually jot my passwords down someplace, but it's much easier having the site remember it on non-essential websites.

I haven't had any probllems with it yet, as it looks great, and has been working great for me. I like the fact that I can use it on mu computer, iPhone, and ipad. The options are great, and I love the changes. This time change was very good.

This is the only change I've experienced with mylot and so far, so good except the mylot code isn't working for me with the B, I, and U. I've not tried all three, but two so far.

@MarshaMusselman I guess that's been fixed already. I did let them know in a comment. Although, maybe it's working in comments and not on the discussions yet. I'll try editing to reflect it and see if it works now.
Nope, so it's working in the comments, but not the discussions. I'll edit my comment to mylotbugs to reflect that.

@MarshaMusselman I haven't encountered any problems so far. I haven't tried al the emoticons, but so far the ones I have tried are working. I like the fact though, that when there are problems, they will get to them as soon as possible. I love the new site as it is much nicer looking, and I realy like the drop down menus, as I like the fact that everyting is together so we don't have to search for things that we are looking for.

@LadyDuck Same here, but that's why I wouldn't be seeing the new post right away. At first I thought maybe some were seeing new posts on their notifications like we did on Bubblews, but I just checked and that's a no. I have four tabs opened right now for mylot even though I'm not looking at them in any order.

When you opened your page on the previous version did it open to notifications first, and then do you normally check the explore tab first for the day? I may never have seen it hadn't someone, in this case, Alfredo, been talking about it.

Like in what way? Did you let mylotbugs know on his discussion in the link above? Is it because you're not yet used to it or are things not working correctly here and there?

I had no problem signing into the site when I got the link from another member. I found it a step up, though I will need to get used to where everything is in the drop down boxes, but that's nothing major to worry about. I did have it all figured out before I logged off for the night. However, I'm still automatically going to the old site, so I will be happy when the new site goes live.
