Mint To Rid You Of Micees

Yes, I just read an interesting bit of info..... For those of you that have varmints entering your homes there is help. Have mice in the rafters, squirrels venturing in? Put a few potted mint plants around your home to keep mice at bay. They are allergic. You might also add some peppermint to your household cleaner to make a more potent deterrent of these dirty little guys.

I think I recall something like this Celtic. And also cinammon works for ants.

There are now no more giant mice entering our house and claiming our oven as their perfect haven. I have successfuly blocked off their point of entry into the house. I'm just curious about what you said about mice being allergic to mints. I just bought a pot of spearmints and i have placed it outside our house very near our open canal drainage where big rats live. I am going to check tomorrow if our canal drainage is now rat free.

That is a great idea. We have only a few incidents in the past but the mouse traps worked.

I have several plants of mint in my garden, I did not know that they are a mice deterrent.

Sounds like some good info to me. We do get mice time to time but only on really cold days but i have only seen 2 so far this whole winter. Usually we get more than that but we slowly our finding where they come thru
