Finally, I have completed a project

I have been quite busy with my freelance projects lately, and also homeschooling preparation. I am glad that I just finished a web design project, and uploaded it to the client's server.
Actually the web design has been almost done quite some time ago, I am just waiting for the final feedback from the client. So, we finally got the feedback, made a few minor changes and it's done.
Though it's just a simple project, I am always happy to get something done and kick it out from my to-do list. Now, I am concentrating on the other project, and I just managed to get one module done as well. So, I am taking a break now.
I am also waiting to receive the payment from the client. It seems like I haven't been receiving pay check for quite some time.

What are you busy with lately?

I've mostly been MyLotting but now we're replacing the guttering on part of the house. I can't do much to help but I can around and pass tools up and down as needed and make murmuring sounds of commiseration when things go wrong. :)

I used to write some articles that I got paid for. Was a member of a group of sites but over half of them shut their doors in October. So, now I am looking for something I can do to make a little extra money online. Am able to spend more time here lately though which is nice.

I am sorry to hear that. I have heard many writing sites have shut down, this really affects the professional writers. Hope you'll be able find more opportunities online. Have you thought of publishing your own ebooks? Perhaps you can give it a try.

How nice to be done with that project . . . I hope you will get paid soon if you haven't already! I am busy with the usual things in juggling all the things going on with the kids. But on top of that I am planning for my daughter's birthday party which comes this weekend. Most of it is taken care of already - but now I have to put it all together and make sure it happens the way we want it to.

Mothers always need to learn the juggling skills.
When is your daughter's birthday? My elder son's birthday is on this coming Friday (26 Feb). We do not plan to have any party, but I am working on some handmade crafts for him. Hope I'll be able to finish them by Friday.
Happy birthday in advanced to your lovely girl!

@much2say Thank you! That'd be really nice to have a party with her friends! A friend of mine asked if I'd like to have a small party for my son as well, as it's his 7th year birthday, it marks a significant milestone as well, but I just decided to have a very simple celebration with my son. We usually just buy a cake, and enjoy eating it together as a family. So, my son didn't request for the rest, but just a birthday cake for him.
But, I always make some handmade crafts for him as well.
It sounds fun to prepare the goodie bags!

@kaka135 Yes - it's a juggling act!
My daughter's birthday was actually earlier in the month - but with it being so busy, we decided to celebrate at the end of the month. We usually only have a small dinner, but this time as she is graduating from elementary school, we thought she could have a party with all her friends - as a nice memory to end elementary school anyway.
Handmade crafts for your son's birthday sound like fun! We are working on goodie bags today - and a thank you card for each bag.
Happy birthday to your eldest son too!!!

@cherriefic Yes, moreover I am happy working on these projects, as they are quite interesting to do. It's just that I also need to take care of my children, so I have to remind myself not to just spend time at work.

I am so glad to hear you are done with that project now Lee.
And I hope you receive payment soon.
I had made a headboard for my bed out of a table lolz
So just finding uses of old things is what I am doing.

That's really good! Did that involve woodworking? I always want to learn some woodworking, or make good use of old things. You are really brilliant!
I have sent out the invoice yesterday. I will be glad to receive the payment soon.
Two more projects to go, and then I might just take a break from work.

I have another two projects on hand, and I wish to complete one of them by February. So, I am still rushing for that now. But I am quite energetic now, so hope I'll get it done soon. Then after these two, I can really take a break and getting ready to welcome my third baby.

I'm glad these projects don't really have fixed or rushing deadlines, as the clients are not rushing for them. But it's always good that I can complete the projects, then I can be relaxed and receive the money as well.
I guess many working people are busy, and I chose to work and take care of my children at the same time, so I have to take the responsibilities.
