Back To the UFOs

Earlier this week I posted a photo of the bag I had made beside my daughters bag.
At least one Mylotter pointed out that I was supposed to be finishing UFOs.
Even while making the bag, there was progress being made on several other projects. A scarf (knitted) is now all but finished. The quilt I am quilting is coming along and now the quilt top that I started in the early fall, is ready to be quilted.
Tonight, I'm going to sit and do nothing. My week has been insanely busy, so I deserve an evening off.
Hopefully I can get a better picture, but this will do for now.

I'm glad people remember some of what I've written. It saves me having to explain over and over again. I'd like to say that the pile is going down, but now that I'm clearing my mother's things I've added a lot more UFOs to my pile.

@Morleyhunt It was suggested I needed to restate about our motor home holiday each time I wrote about our travels which seems a bit of overkill but I guess many haven't read the early posts.

Very nice. You do quite a few different crafts, it sounds like.

I'm willing to try many different things. Some I'm more successful with than others.

@Drosophila at one time, maybe. I'm not getting married anytime...I am quite content to stay with my husband of 40 years. I do often give quilts as wedding gifts.

@Morleyhunt I disagree. That takes creative talent, and you have it!!!! Enjoy a relaxing evening.

I don't know that I am more creative than the average person, I'm just not afraid to use the talents I have and not worry about the ones I don't have. Don't ask me to arrange flowers...that is a huge fail, but a needle and some thread, that I can manage.

I have trouble throwing things out...hence the scrap quilt. Almost every piece of fabric in that quilt is out of my scrap box. I only purchase a small piece of fabric to make the small navy and white squares that are my corner posts.

Busy yes, talented, I can follow directions and have learned to use the math I was forced to learn at school.

Yes, a UFU is an UnFinished Object... I still have way too many of them......but we are working on reducing the pile.

well now, how's that person think ya wind'p with those ufo's?? bless yer heart, 'tis a beaut! dang i sure wish i could hop through the puter 'n jest learn from ya :) i fear my quilts'f always been simple, stickin' mainly to good ol' squares. 'course, i can't draw/cut/sew a straight line so that always makes 'em interestin', lol.

Thank you. I don't sit and do nothing very well. I fall asleep, so if I have a project (portable) then I work on it while enjoying my coffee or watching television.

LOL, does UFOs mean "unfinished objects"? That's awesome! My studio is absolutely crammed with UFOs.
