Parents Spanking Habit

My father used a leather belt on me.

I did get spanking from my Dad because naughtiness was in me then. Oh well, that was good because I became a better person.

Ouch ! That one is wood so it's painful . Our father would spank us with his belt , if he discovers we told a lie or if we siblings quarrel with each other . Ouch also .

No, I have never been spanked with "objects", no leather belt or anything similar. My father never hit me.

I was a well-behaved child, smart and intelligent too. I am naughty, very much so lol but I was also one of those good girls that didn't get caught when they were being bad. Even if they did, their innocent disposition and innocent looking face backed up with their all around good behavior pretty much got me a sure escape... But I did get slapped once by my father in my teens. That slap had ignited my temper more and I had exploded further. lol For the very first time I had shouted at my father. I don't condone physical punishments. I have told him as such that not to do that again. He can yell at me all he want but no hitting. One fierce or disapproving look is enough for me to realize my mistake...

I do experience this. Eventually it had changed through the years and parents are not allowed to do this anymore.

I wouldn't call what we got as kids as beatings at all. But we did get spankings when we misbehaved. As we got older, we would be put on restriction instead which meant we had to stay in our room, no TV and we usually couldn't use our stereo for a couple of weeks.

I used hanger for my son but not for his butt, to hit something to make a sound that will get his attention. He has speech and some developmental delays and a little hyper so whenever he have tantrums that I get the hanger so he knows that I am angry already and he will somehow stop. Nowadays, I do not need anything I just need to make sure he hears my voice clearly and loudly. He can understand better now.

We never beat our sons. My mother spanked me once with the big black belt, reserved for my two brothers, when I was five. My dad slapped me in the mouth only once when I was a teenager. I had a fat lip from it, and skipped school the next day. However, I deserved that slap.

I was spanked a lot as a kid. Mom had a board she used as a paddle.

I recall my mother hit me and it is still in my mind. I love her so much but I cannot forget what she did to me when I was still a kid. I sometimes hit the buttocks of my children with my belt when I found out that he is playing games in an internet shop.

i believe it is because you were basically a child that needed not much spanking because you easily learned the lesson of not being well disciplined.

No objects, but received plenty of beatings from my parent. I have received caning too from nuns...and knuckle braking with wooden foot ruler.
