Meet our cat Stoner. He was named Stoner because of his insane love of catnip. After a binge, he just sits there and stares at you with half-closed eyes, looking very much like a human who has just taken a few bong rips. In this photo, however, he's not under the influence.
Along with his sister Booger (named because she was a booger as a kitten,) Stoner is the oldest of our four cats, not quite five years old.
Other than hanging out with his sister, Stoner is a bit of a loner, preferring the solitude of his own company (Booger is much the same way, if not more so.)
Besides his love of catnip, Stoner enjoys sleeping a lot and watching squirrels. And while he occasionally comes to me for affection, he has picked my girlfriend as his human and heads her way when he craves attention.
He's a cool cat with a cool name, and we love him very much.

We only give catnip once in a while as a treat. But when they do get it, he takes full advantage.

Stoner the loner, it has a certain ring to it. I favor a cat over a dog any day. Four cats seems like an overindulgence, way too many for me anyhow. My cat-friends down the road have 7 or eight, or maybe only 6 cats. The woman says it's a good thing she isn't working outside her home because the cats are a full-time job. A job that she loves and wouldn't trade for anything, btw. I give them —the cats, not the humans— catnip every year during the holiday season, and it's party party party for teh kittehs.

He is very mellow. That, or he's extremely lazy. He pretty much hangs out and sleeps a lot.

Stoner is adorable and I am glad you do not feel slighted or do you when he prefers your girlfriend over you? Cats are very cool. My cat sleeps and runs around our small apartment and loves to hang out with me when I am out on our porch and she loves to watch the flies and go into her watching and attacking mode to get to them.
