What's cooking? A beautiful day for an apple dessert here-

We always have room for a little something made with apples. When apples are abundant, we find it is easy to make a quick 'apple something' that most would enjoy.
With the sun being bright and giving everyone a happy outlook, it was easy to recruit some helpers to get busy on this apple treat.
Are you cooking up a storm today, or enjoying the great outdoors?

it's a little too windy to stay out very long, even though the sun is shinning. Until we moved to TN we had no idea there were so many apple orchards here.

@JudyEv I guess the main industry in TN is tourism.

We have dozens of apple orchards here too. It is the main industry.

I never really ate cooked apples - but that sounds like a nice treat. Will you be making a pie?

I am going to use some canned peaches and make a peach cobbler today. Enjoy that dessert.

I don't cook up a storm anymore unless its apple time. We buy a bushel and make apple butter, and a lot of apple pies and apples sauce..

We enjoyed the outdoors with a trip to a hot springs and a bit of a soak. It was clear but cool at 55 degrees.
