What I have been doing

Well, mostly I have been playing with yarn. I can't seem to stop. And every project makes a good subject for a blog post on another site. I am hoping to reach a good payout over there.
But that's no reason not to be here daily and as the winter turns to spring, perhaps I will find the inspiration more often. In the meantime, here's one of the projects I was involved in while I was away from myLot. It's an afghan that was knitted on my Super Afghan Loom. The loom is made in an S shape so it's entire length fits on your lap. As you can see, it makes a large afghan all in one piece.
I have been looming all sorts of things but I will probably do less of it as the weather gets warmer. Having a giant piece of knitting on your lap is much less appealing in the summer than it is in the winter.

@JudyEv I have a variety of looms. I never loomed before, I used to crochet quite a lot. And there are not a lot of patterns out there. But I have found ways to make a lot of different things and I am blogging the patterns. I have even written patterns for making gloves on a German sock loom. You just have to think outside the knitting needles.

I'm all thumbs when it comes to stuff like this. I do make afghan biscuits though.

I will often work on afghans and quilts in the winter. They keep me warm while I work on them.

As you say, knitting is more comfortable in winters. I have noticed this personally. Not many take up knitting during summers. That Afghan is beautiful!
