He's An Ace Of A Pup

I am sure that it comes as no surprise to anyone that I would share a picture of my dog Ace. I got this shot while Ace was watching his big human brother Z, who was holding one of Ace's favorite toys. Ace gets spoiled having either or both of the boys home because of all the extra attention they shower him with. If Dad's not paying him enough attention, Ace has someone else he can go to for pats and scratches. The little guy had to settle for just having Mom and Dad around when the boys left after the holidays. At least he has Ginger, our Brittany, around to keep him company. Ginger is more matter of fact about the boys being home. She's enjoys the extra attention, but she grew up being treated like a member of the family. I don't think Ace knew what that was like until he came to live with us. He certainly has grown used to the easy life he has now.

I can just see Ace tracking a toy or treat intently, until he can pounce! What a cutie!

He loves to have me throw his toys so he can chase them, and then he plays keep away. Sometimes he'll bring them back once or twice before he "hides" them in his crate.

He looks a bit worried although he probably shares his toys better than many children.

He was annoyed with me for interrupting his game to take his picture. Ace will play with a toy for a while and then put it in his crate and start playing with another one. Then once they are all in his crate, he will start bringing them out again.

@DWDavis They are so cute. I saw a YouTube clip today of a Labrador which took his teddy and stepped into a floating cushion affair in a swimming pool. He really looked like he just wanted to get away from it all. :) I think Ace is a very lucky dog.

Ace looks just a bit perplexed, probably because his toy is in other hands. He is a lucky dog.
