Your Child Can Sue You When Grown Up ... For Posting Their Photos Online

Skip and I are watching the news. In the back of my mind I was wondering what I would write about today.
Well ... if this isn't interesting ... nothing is. In France, children can sue their parents for 'breaching their right to privacy or jeopardising their security' ... when they grow up.
I hope this is okay to post the link to what I'm writing about. This is to show more in depth of what I heard on the news. It may happen here in the US, also. It doesn't hurt to be forewarned ...
I was thinking about kids who grow up angry at their parents and want to be vindictive. This is ammunition handed to them on a plate.
This is the link I went to after hearing it on the news. I thought I had heard it all ... I'm amazed something different, unexpected, new ... got my attention. This definitely did it, and I bet it gets yours, too.
Here's the link: (if I shouldn't put it here, please tell me quickly) ....

I am not surprised that this is happening at all. I have known of kids to turn their parents in for foolish stuff for quite a while. We are a lawsuit happy generation.

I think it's wrong to give children that power ... they can take time to 'build up their cases' .. because children today ... are very, very smart.

Children already have the right to sue their parents for any number of things here in the US once they reach the age of majority--but it sounds like the French article is about criminal charges not civil??

@GrannyGee This may be in response to tightened security across the nation after the last bombing there

I think it's going to become reality here one day ... of course, that's my Gloria Opinion. You see children suing their parents today.

I think in the future one would be more selective ... maybe not show the whole face. We know sometimes today, teenagers sue their parents ... so, it could become reality here. My Gloria Opinion only.

@JudyEv We have turned into a suing society ... sue at the drop of a hat. You are right.

@GrannyGee I agree completely. Everyone has so many 'rights' these days, don't they?

The court systems will let you sue for just about any reason. Those lawyers are all so greedy. This is totally about money.

Well my son is seventeen now. I have hardly ever posted photos of him. His artwork yes. I guess, I am somewhat of a private person. I never had the desire to post hundreds of pictures of him growing up.
