Is it Cherries or Chocolates?

The fundamentals of knowing the differences in life!
“Life is a bowl of cherries. Some cherries are rotten while others are good; its your job to throw out the rotten ones and forget about them while you enjoy eating the ones that are good! There are two kinds of people: those who choose to throw out the good cherries and wallow in all the rotten ones, and those who choose to throw out all the rotten ones and savor all the good ones.”
~ C. JoyBell C.
This reminds me of a line in a very famous movie - Forrest Gump . . when he refers to his mother and how life is like a box of chocolates:
" My momma always said, "Life was like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get.""
therefore if today you find yourself faced with a rotten cherry, or a chocolate not to your tasting, choose to toss it out or leave it behind. No regrets, no second guessing, no hiding, no contest!
Quite in the philosophical mood I am . . . .
I am missing my mom and dad today.

That is a lovely photo. I have eaten chocolates that have cherries in it and yes picking wheat from chaff is called art of living.

I'm so aware of how it is to miss a parent. One never gets used to the fact they are gone. I treasure each day I spend with my mom, at 87 you never know how much time you have left. Today was a good day for me, I had happy mail and a lovely time with my sisters yesterday.
