The Count Down is On!

I am probably in the busiest part of my year right now. But the end is in sight! I just set the date for my final student recital this spring--May 22. In between then and now, I have three student recitals, two workshops, my own singing and a ton of lessons to teach. Then I have a fairly quiet June lined up. My daughter will be returning from school in Hungary about then and it will be great to spend some family time!

It looks like my parents house is sold. That gives us about 11 weeks to empty the house and garage. That will make for a very busy couple of months, When I owned my bridal shop this was just the start of my busy season. Good luck. You can accomplish all of it.

@divalounger I'm studing "1st of Bachillerato" I don't know exact how much does it equivalent in United States. I think is high school, but I'm not sure. I'm 17 and I've never repeat any course. I always want to reach the highest mark and this is the reason for being too busy.

I actually love the whole recital thing and all the prep--and students really do practice more and make significant progress --but I also love relaxing at the end of it

@divalounger That's what counts in life. As long as you are enjoying what you are doing can make a very happy family.

This is my down time. I get busy from May to December so I'm still on vacation but will have to start painting soon.

I sometimes think these recitals are more worry for the teacher than for the students. The students only have themselves to worry about whereas the teacher worries about them all! Hope it goes well. I'm sure it will.

I do worry about them! And they usually do go well despite my worries!
