Oh no it's Friday - another week gone.

It's not been long since I started my day and of course, my fur baby Gypsy has been making mischief while I sleep. Yesterday, I woke to find the fabric covering my bed base ripped to shreds. (The base is old and the fabric perishing in my hands). She is still getting onto the table when I'm not looking and i have no clue how she does it because I have arranged the chairs so she has no access. Today I found my nail file on the floor and yesterday it was the remote control for the air con. She's about one now and I can't wait for her to grow out of this puppy stage.

I can think of a few other words to describe her.

It's still Thursday here at the moment. Sometimes some pups get into mischief.

We have another day to go before it is Friday here. Gypsy will still need be looked after for a while yet. I take it you don't crate her at night. Not good here getting into some of those things, I crate my dog at night until she is no longer getting into things.

@MsTickle My dog loves her crate and is not confined there except at night, it is not cruel. What would you do if you had to take a dog in the car to go on vacation-leave it loose in the back seat so when you have an accident it would be injured -no you would crate it for the ride. I see why you don't have any pets.

@Marcyaz When we go in the car, my dogs are in their harness. The cat has his carrier as he is frightened. I don't understand you ;last sentence about me not having pets as I have 2 dogs, a cat and 2 goats.

I don't have pets to tie them up or crate them. I'm against such forms of control and think there are better ways to train them. I would never force my dog to stay in a confining cage for hours on end as I think it's cruel.

I have seen some puppies do some remarkable things. Finding a way to get up there just means you have a smart one on your hands. Oh no! LOL

Shortly after I brought her home I "knew" she was clever. Turns out it's evil clever not smart clever.

@MsTickle ....Sadly so. Maybe you should set up some cameras so you can see just how 'evil'.

Oh dear, naughty puppy. Is she a particular breed?

Judy, "naughty puppy" doesn't cover it. She is a mutant, alien, mini monster, cleverly disguised as a Foxy x Jack Russell.

@JudyEv You are probably right! LOL when i got her from the local pound, one of the staff came out to tell me that she took her home for the weekend with her young family and she described her as "perfect" I have no idea why she lied to me.Mind you, with all her naughtiness, i wouldn't swap her for quids.

@MsTickle That is a terrible combination! Whatever made you take her on? I'd employ someone to walk her ten miles twice a day and perhaps then she might be too tired to be naughty!

Yes,patsie, I remember how sad you were to giver up your dog. Yes, she does do the shoe thing. I think were past the 10 pairs mark now. It's slowed down some since she first arrived.
