Is Paranormal and occult news part of your News headlines?

I watched international news like Fox,CNN,Al Jazeera and BBC and the infamous Naked news. The news in the Philippines have something those News programs have. Paranormal events were norm of the news reports here. When I was a kid I remember these crazy news making the headlines: Mermaid imprisoned at the Bureau of fisheries, Vampire terrorized a village, Gorgon woman spotted in the mountains and Woman claimed she was kidnapped by faeries. I am not sure if I am allowed to share multiple news clips on one post so I may share a news clip on every response I will get. Sadly non of the news clips were on English. This one on the other hand is about a haunted factory infested by ghosts: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nl5pn7YmW9E This happened years ago, Mass demonic possession that happened on a highschool:

I've watched a fair share of paranormal and sci-fi documentaries. After awhile these unorthodox stories often appear staged or man made. Except for...a few really good ones that can really creep the shyt out of people.

Do you see some of them in Singaporean news programs? I had been in Singapore before and when I watch the news it is all about Politics, Crime, Achievements of the country, sports and entertainment. I remember there is a corrupt politician in a country somewhere in South America who forced paranormal news on news programs to distract people from his scandals. This is a sample of a ghost news here, Sadly not in English:
A white figure resembling a woman was caught on cam while the crew of ''Rated K'' was shooting a paranormal investigation inside a house in Tondo, Manila. Wa...

@Ladypeace There seemed to be a decrease when it comes to paranormal news here because we have an upcoming election and I believe it is very crucial for the future of this country.

@CaptAlbertWhisker I haven't seen them on our news, but on variety programs yes but seldom. I've looked at the news video you've given me and find it rather fascinating.

I am interested in paranormal news and I sometimes read that kind of news on the internet, but in the local news from Denmark paranormal topics usually aren't represented. They mostly talk about politics.

Miracles were also popular here, Like the case of a woman who got cured of cancer just by bathing in a famous holy brook. There is also the case of the woman who claimed she "got cured" by interacting with the pope.

I actually just laughed at those kind of news. They are mostly unbelievable.

@CaptAlbertWhisker For sure and those news are mostly just fabricated to call attention and so the people will be enticed to pay attention.

That sounds like the cheap Newspapers that you see in the grocery and Wal-Mart at the checkout counter, you know, like "The National Enquirer" and "The Sun".

Well, these used to be my favorites - though on Indian Tele, they almost never appeared (at least by the time when I moved out and started living without a tele). Though I keep looking out for such news on the newspapers and even on the Internet. Most of the Paranormal stuff looks interesting - maybe because I have been interested in reading about such things. I even had an encyclopedia sort of a book that was titled - Haunted Houses when I was at school. basically, this book had information about places/houses that were supposed to be possessed by spirits. Some years back, I did read about some spaceships or aliens on the Bermuda Triangle - and the images looked green structures floating above sea. I hope you too might have seen those images as you seem to be one having interest in such things

I haven't heard any news about aliens for a long time. Ghosts have more chances to make the news here. next would be miracles that were religion related. i think the catholic church's control over the country have something to do with it. There is a shortage of paranormal news in the last few months but around of October and November there is plenty of them.

This always scares the humanity out of me, but can't say I have never looked. They are imaginative. Give them that.

The Holy week and easter is coming, I am expecting headlines about some Jesus or Virgin Mary sightings anytime soon.

Of course, they did show this last year back in the month of november, but nothing serious or a threat. there was some documentary about exorcism and one of the priest did it after seeing the person reacted to the cleansing prayer.

These news were more severe back in the 90's. I remember Manananggal attacks use to be a part of the local news.

Considering I am someone who actively search's for paranormal news, no. It's almost impossible to come across them. Mostly ot's either the elections or celebrity gossip that seems to cover the papers.
