First I would like to thank all of you who wished me a Happy Leap Year birthday. Wish I could share the past week from February 26 to March 3 and tell you how I celebrated but it is against the rules here to talk about your birthday.
Since I have not been here all week because of the above reason I feel I have fallen too far behind to catch up in responding to your comments on my other discussions--please forgive me and I will start all anew on Monday.

It's certainly not against the rules to talk about birthdays! The Guidelines dissuade us from "Posting personal milestones such as birthdays, anniversaries, etc.", it is true, but this means posts which only say "It's my birthday today!" or "I made nearly a dollar today!" and nothing else which constitutes a topic for discussion.
The secret is to think ahead to what sort of responses you'd expect to get from what you say. If the only thing people are likely to be able to respond with is "Congratulations!", then you don't have a valid discussion. The same test applies to other kinds of posts mentioned in the Guidelines. Think 'conversation'! Do you give enough information or raise sufficient questions for people to have to respond with more than one or two words? Is the topic one which you can expect to discuss? Then you should have no problems!
Anyway, Congratulations on achieving 80 years with the economy of celebrating only a quarter of them legitimately!

I either write what I want to write or I don't!! I can send you to a sight where hundreds of people are talking about my birthday and all I do it tell what happened. :O)

There is a huge difference between remarking on a milestone, to announcing a milestone just to collect comments.
