Price adjustment & saved $20 bucks!

Yesterday - I bought an accent rug (5'x7') on sale for $49.98 from $99.99. I thought that was already an amazing deal considering the quality was very nice compared to a few I have owned previously from Ikea/Walmart. I purchased the rug from Target. I ended up having to run a quick errand at Target this morning and browsed through the rug aisle just to see the selection and the same rug I had just bought yesterday was even cheaper! Priced at $29.98! I grabbed that rug and went straight to customer service, showed them my receipt and she price adjusted the difference. I received $21 and change back! I used that toward my Target purchase.

It's really nice to have that price adjustment over there. It helped you to save so much, even though you have bought it the day before. It's good that you have got a great deal, from $100 to $30!

I wouldn't mind if the sale dropped from $50 to $30 in like a month! But just the next day, I'm glad they have price adjustment policy or else I would have bought it and returned the one I bought $50 with the receipt since I didn't even have a chance to open the rug yet, lol. Is there price adjustments available in Malaysia or some sort of return policy?

@infatuatedbby I don't think there is, the return or refund policy is not common here as well. If that happens here, I think we'd be feeling regret of purchasing the rug one day or even a few days earlier, because we wouldn't be able to return or have the price adjustment. Things sold are just sold here.

@kaka135 I hear in Asia many items are Final Sale - no returns, exchanges, price adjustments.

I bought one they were selling on QVC yesterday. I got a 7 x 10 for the back porch. It was on sale too plus I got e-bates money and sawgbucks money. I guess yesterday was rug day.

@infatuatedbby I rather buy online and use it then buy directly from one of the few stores we have.

They return $21 to you? I don't think this would happen in my country.

Yes I got cash back since I paid cash or option for store credit.

Wow, fortunately you go back to take a look at the price. if you do not think about checking the price, you would have missed out on the price adjustment.

You got luck there @infatuatedbby at least they were able to adjust the price of the item.

It's cool when that happens. The rug I use in some of my photos is a genuine Indian rug I bought on the Flathead Reservation in Montana. I know it's genuine because it says Made in India on it.
