Hero or Villain, Which are You?

When you daydream, are you a hero? Are you a Villain? And if you are neither then what are you? I am often in the protagonist role but with an antagonist's thought process. For example, after 13 I never imagined myself as an angel or a knight or an exorcist... I was always the fallen angel, the monster, or the demon. Even to this day I would say that I'm a person with good intentions, but in the form of darkness. One thing that really annoys me is the white vs black world. When people tell me to submit before their god I get hostile, because I disagree with their god. I disagree with the opposite of their god. And were I to have the power and the two entities were my enemies, I would destroy them both. So when it comes to hero or villain, I'm neither. What are you?

I think I am both. it depends on my mood. Sometimes I see myself like a hero, but others I am so angry that I would love to be a villain and punish those who hurt me.

@OneOfMany I agree, right now I am in evil mood, someone made me angry (very angry), this world is far to be perfect.

Proof that we all have a little thirst for destruction and vengeance inside us. Probably because there are so many people out there that bring it out of us. That and the power structure of the world does that as well. If it was operated better everyone could live better.

@LadyDuck Any time that I watch politicians playing their 'games' and doing what they do I get mad. Any time a telemarketer calls me with an obvious scam I get mad. Any time people are just idiots instead of using their brains (99% of the time) I get angry. There's a lot to get unhappy about.

I am both, to different people and at different times. Or at the same time.

Well a hero to one group of people will be a villain to another. It boils down to perspective after a while.

@Poppylicious Or like me, you're a gray existence. And occasionally you lean more towards one side than the other.

@OneOfMany Or maybe I have a split personality. Perhaps I'm just a villain sometimes and a hero other times. It might just depend upon whom I'm with and what aspect of me they bring to the forefront?!

It can apply to how you see yourself in life as well. Are you the good guy or the bad guy? :P

@OneOfMany I can be both villain and hero depending on the situation. I like creating a ruckus if it would do any good

@RasmaSandra Well there are times when playing by the rules gets a society stuck in a rut. A ruckus can form a new perspective. Take the current world. New political systems haven't been set into place despite the high need for them. The people go with what worked for the generations before because it's easier. Yet after World War 2 the world is completely different. At first it did really well during the baby boom, but after that it is getting all congested. The system needs to be modified, but because people hate getting out of the box they are used to, it takes a major shaker to start the migration.

Well I do have intentions of world domination. Deep inside my naive facade is someone who wants revenge. The right to be God, the ability to enslave and control humanity. Yes I am a villain through and through. I wanted the world around my fingers. *evil laugh*

I think a lot of us grow with thoughts or world domination. I did for a while, but not complete domination. I wanted a global empire and a few rebel countries to be around so I could test my newest weapons of destruction on someone without harming my own people. After all, if you conquer everything, you don't really need new weapons.

@OneOfMany many times I am just riding along, like I am sitting in someone's head but watching a movie

I've gotten to the state of mind that position means next to nothing. I don't seem to acknowledge authority (unless it's my father).

@Jessicalynnt I see. Kind of like my movie dreams. I'm watching the dreams but I have no interaction with them. So I feel like I'm just watching a movie.

I think I like both, one cannot be called a 'hero' if there's no 'villain' right?

Also there are few heroes in this world to begin with. We have to make it harder for the ones around!

I think rather than having fantasies of hero or angel,we need to be a human being,a person who is in deeply love with himself.

I'll leave that to the humans that want to be that way. I want to help people as a demonic god.
