We've been watching Naked and Afraid all day on Discovery Channel. It's very interesting to watch how they survive all kinds of challenges. I love to watch, file back what I see ... for a 'just in case I need it". Do you watch Naked and Afraid? I think sometimes, the hardest part of surviving is being ... naked. That would be the challenge for me.

I've never heard of this show - sounds a bit Adam and Evey. If all my bits were on show I'd be most afraid of ants and stinging nettles I think.

@enlightenedpsych2 That's interesting, and wonderful to know what plants can help ailments.

I watched it last summer but seemed to get enough. It was heart wrenching to watch couple after couple barely making it out of there. Some worse than others. I got a little tired of it.

@celticeagle Yes, they do accomplish something the average person can't, won't do.

I haven't got the foggiest idea what you're talking about here. Not all members live in the USA and watch US TV shows. :-(

@Lucky15 I don't watch this all the time ... just when it looks interesting. I like to watch them build fire to have heat. And other life-saving techniques they bring to the show.

Yes, I watch it and watched the XL series which was really good. There is a new discovery show coming over there soon (think a few have already been shown) with Ed Stafford it'll be on discovery. Well worth watching.

@GrannyGee he's also doing another one called into the unknown but that isn't really a survival show. When I said new show I was wrong as it's been out a while now.

I don't like the vanity family reality shows at all. When I can learn from a reality show ... I like some of them. I understand though.

I can understand not being interested. I'm not all the time ... I just like it when I can learn something.
