My friend and I are working on a special gift (surprise), for my granddaighter. We are making her a quilt from her Nana (me). The photo is one of the squares we will be using. I'm so excited, I can't wait till it's done, to surprise her with it. She may not appreciate it now, but as she gets older, or when I'm gone, it will mean more to her. She will always know that her Nana lover her bunches. Do you have a special bonding with your grandchild?

That's an amazing gift. My grandmother crochet several blankets for me. I think of her every time I use them.

That is such a sweet gift. I am sure she will love it. No, I am not a Grand Mother at the moment. My two adult sons are not married yet. Hopefully one day I will become a Grand Ma.

@lilnana1111 Yes, I have been told how special it is from women I know who are Grand Mothers.

She will love your quilt. I do have a special bond with both my granddaughter and grandson, even though they are 6 and 7!

They grow up so fast, our oldest grandson is already 18, the youngest is 12 years old.

That's a lovely gift. My granddaughter is graduating from high school in May. I still don't know what to gift her.

It gets harder to buy for them as they get older, money always works for teens
