I am thrilled to my toes that my spring break begins tomorrow and lasts until the 28th. I have been waiting for it with baited breath. I need the next week or so off. I have so many things lined up to do that I am not sure where to begin. Actually, most of the things I intend to do are all related to one thing - Writing. I can't wait. For some writing is a chore, for me writing is a joy. Many of the kids moan and groan when they have to write a paragraph or two. I keep telling them that writing is like talking on paper. It's the best way I can explain it. Imagine that you are answering a question out loud and just write down what you would say. Anyway, I am thrilled with the time I will have off. I will certainly be here on mylot more. What would you do if you had a week or so off?

Right at this moment? If I had a week off, I would sleep. There is no week off in the foreseeable future.

I have a week off from teaching next week, but I still have to do my other job. If I had a week totally off right now, I think I'd do a lot of cycling.

@HazySue I actually like spreading it around a bit. It keeps me from getting bored.

I would go on vacation and spend more time with family and friends. But we all have different things we enjoy and like to spend our vacations differently. I hope you enjoy your week or so off work and get tons of writing done. I can't wait til my week vacation in June going to need it.

My college aged son had his Spring Break the first week of March. I think that is the earliest ever I have heard for a Spring Break. I do hope you have a great time and enjoy yourself.

@LeaPea2417 the schools in the county next to us had their spring break last week. I think you are right, the first week of March is a little early.

I have every week off, every day, every hour and wouldn't trade it for my working days for sure.

Excellent, how xexciting for you! If I wasnt travelling on my week or so off I would probably devote it to things like shopping and writing as well as seeing friends. It would be awesome! Are you a teacher or just taking some time off?

Enjoy your week off! If I had a week off I'd be tempted to go away somewhere and just relax

@Marilynda it is tempting to go away. Only problem is, it costs money I don't have.

I'm sure you'll enjoy your week off. I'm thinking it's time I started googling writing competitions. I used to enter them regularly once. And I love the photo. Is it a Pixabay?
